Counter Sales Associate
Longley Supply Company is looking for a Counter Sales Associate in our New Bern NC location. We are seeking candidates who are seeking a long term career in sales. The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic, diverse communication skills, a drive to succeed, confidence, trustworthiness, attention to detail, and a willingness and ability to take the initiative. We are looking for experience in Electric, Plumbing, and or HVAC. However, we will train the right person. Once on-board, new associates start in the location where they will be trained to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities as a counter sales associate. The training includes warehouse and counter sales.
Counter sales associates will be responsible for assisting in warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, inventory management, etc Some heavy lifting may be involved. Counter sales associates will assist in sales functions for existing and prospective customers. Also, typical job duties include:
developing customer relationships. Providing accurate pricing/inventory information to customers.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
